A teenager who had to have her left amputated after the Alton Towers rollercoaster crash has stood up for the first time.
Leah Washington, 17, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, was one of four seriously injured when a carriage on The Smiler crashed into an empty one on Tuesday last week.
She was taken into intensive care after she was trapped on the ride for more than four hours.
Her left leg was taken off above the knee and her condition has dramatically improved.
