Jurgen Klopp has hinted he could be the successor to Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

The Borussia Dortmund boss has frequently been tipped to move to the Premier League, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City both previously linked with the German.

But Arsenal are believed to be interested in Klopp taking the reins at the Emirates when Wenger’s long-term tenure finally comes to an end.

And the Dortmund manager today dropped the biggest hint yet that he could soon be on his way to north London.

When asked about managing in England, Klopp said: ‘I think it’s the only country I think where I should work, next to Germany because it’s the only country I know the language a little bit and I need the language for my work.

‘If somebody will call me, then we will talk about it.’

Wenger put pen to paper on a new three-year contract at Arsenal last summer after guiding the Gunners to FA Cup victory over Hull City.

But they look to be suffering yet another tumultuous league campaign and reports suggest patience could be wearing thin at the Emirates.
