A conversation in which a 13-year-old boy comes out to his best friend has gone viral after the boy’s sister posted it to Twitter.

The teenager struggles to confess to his comrade about his sexuality, but his mate’s instant and complete acceptance of him will restore your faith in humanity.

Despite serious overuse of the word ‘bro’, the heartwarming exchange proves that sometimes it is the very young who can be the most accepting and tolerant.

‘I feel the same how boys feel about girls… but to boys. I’m so weird, it feels weird and bad,’ says the teenager in the text.

He even expresses his fear that his friend will desert him following the revelation.

However the other lad proves his worth and tells his best friend his sexuality doesn’t bother him.

‘As a bro I’m gonna stick by you. Aint nothing wrong with being gay my friend,’ he adds.

After being shared thousands of times on Twitter, several people have accused @paleveil, who posted the exchange, of faking the conversation.

However she insists it is real, and said she is ‘proud’ of her brother for coming out.

She also confirmed that she had his permission to tweet the conversation, however made sure to blank out the name of bother him and his ‘bro’.
