Chelsea and Manchester United have been given a helping hand in their pursuit of Marco Reus by Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery.

Both clubs have been linked with a move for the highly-rated Borussia Dortmund man, who is also said to be wanted by Bayern Munich.

But Ribery has warned Reus the German won’t get much game time if he elects to move to the Allianz Arena, as he has no intention of giving up his place in Pep Guardiola’s side.

‘Reus is a great player,’ said the French international.

‘But I will be around at Bayern for a while, even if I’m turning 32 in a bit.

‘I am feeling very well and I am raring to go again.

‘I am still an important player at Bayern. People should not write me off just yet.’
