Gemma Collins has vowed to quit TV after her time in the jungle gave her a ‘wake-up call’.
The reality star has allegedly said she’ll be ditching the small screen for good after her experience on the jungle show.
This is bad news. Very bad news. Reality TV without Gemma Collins is like a jam doughnut without the jam.
After flying home from her brief stint in camp, she allegedly told a friend that she wants to give up her day job and refocus on her family.
According to The Sun, she said: ‘This has been such a massive wake-up call. I had no idea this was going to be so hard.
‘I’ve been on a rollercoaster ride for the last three years and it might be time to get off.
‘The jungle was torture, but it gave me time to think. I have to completely re-evaluate my life.’
She also revealed that a ‘personal and serious incident’ just before the show led to her decision to leave.
The show lost both Gemma and Craig Charles within a day, but two more faces have taken their places, X Factor’s Jake Quickenden and former MP Edwina Curry.
