In defence of Tulisa Contostavlos’ amazing new look

Haterz gonna hate Tulisa.

But despite what others might say (including our Showbiz team – awks), we think she’s killing it at the moment.

The 26-year-old was best-dressed, in our humble opinion, at last night’s MOBO awards, in a black and gold combo.

She wore a customised fitted fishtail skirt from Pinghe – you can still get the pencil skirt version online – which flattered her slim figure.

It was paired with a quirky black halterneck top and a long chunky gold necklace, plus some fab gold leaf stilettos by Giuseppe Zanotti. Fashion snaps Tulisa.

Her fishtail plait and natural, peachy makeup were also winners.

Earlier in the day, Tulisa was spotted out and about in a chic 50s coordinating organza midi-skirt and bralet.

This outfit was from high street shop Miss Selfridge and cost a bargain £75 (£45 for the skirt and £30 for the top) *gets debit card out*.

Coming off the back of a difficult year, which saw the collapse of two court cases brought against her, Tulisa’s obviously going for a more sophisticated style and it’s a change very much for the better.

With a new single in the works – this week, she announced the release of her first new song in two years, called Living Without You, via Instagram with a saucy snap from the video – things are definitely looking up for Ms Contostavlos.

Well, in our opinion.
