Join a white-tailed eagle as it soars over some of Paris’ most historic sites

Join an eagle as it soars across Paris in this amazing new video.

Handler Jacques Olivier Travers, who is head of the not-for-profit organisation FREEDOM, is hoping to re-introduce the white-tailed eagle to its natural habitat in the French and Swiss Alps.

And in this amazing clip from the project, which is sponsored by Columbia Sportswear, the white-tail – which has been extinct in France for more than half a century – flies from the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris over the river Seine and down into the Trocadéro Gardens with a mounted Sony Action Cam capturing some incredible footage along the way.
