K-Middy finally felt well enough to make her first public appearance since the announcement of her second pregnancy today. Yay.

And she looked fab in a bespoke Alexander McQueen grey checked frock coat (oh, how we missed the frock coats Kate) and a jaunty coordinating Jane Taylor hat.

And in case you were wondering, she was carrying a black suede Roxy clutch from Brit designer Jenny Packham’s AW14 range.

She accompanied Prince William to the Royal Garden Hotel, a very short distance from Kensington Palace, to meet the president of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam and his wife Mary.

Wills and Kate then escorted the Tans, whom they met during the Diamond Jubilee tour in 2012, to Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall for a ceremonial welcome from the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, before travelling to Buckingham Palace as part of a carriage procession.

Kate, who is due in April, is just 13 weeks pregnant, so there was little sign of a baby bump yet under her sober yet stylish McQueen jacket (our muffin top’s bigger), but no doubt she’ll be starting to let the frock coats out in the coming months.

During today’s meet and greet, she was well enough to flash those perfect pearly whites on numerous occasions.

Nice to know our favourite Duchess is on the mend.
