Manchester United are chasing PSG striker Edinson Cavani and Bayern Munich ace Thomas Muller after deciding to sell Robin van Persie.

The Red Devils have agreed to flog the Dutchman in the coming months after refusing to give him a £10million loyalty bonus that he’d be owed in 18 months’ time.

And the Evening Standard says United will turn to Cavani or Muller to replace Van Persie, with Louis van Gaal a fan of them both.

Cavani, who has been strongly linked with an exit from PSG, would likely cost about £50million, while Muller would be even more expensive.

Two Turkish teams and Real Madrid have been linked with Van Persie in recent days.
