To celebrate the launch of its 100 per cent Aussie rump Steak Taster Wrap, McDonald’s has set up a travelling giant lunchbox which contains a pop-up restaurant. Because, err, why not?

The pop-up will be travelling around the land of Oz, giving out free steak wraps as it goes. First stop is Melbourne and then it will take in the Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide.

In case you’re interested, the new wrap is made by marinating and slow-cooking grilled rump steak, then wrapping it in a steamed tortilla with a creamy garlic aioli and crisp lettuce.

And the lucky Aussies will be able to just walk up to the pop-up lunchbox and take one for free.

A word Maccy D’s: we definitely have room for one of those in Hyde Park. Just saying.
