Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you proof that not everyone in this world is a massive A-hole.
The letter appeared in a newspaper and has warmed hearts around the UK.
It tells the story of a man queuing to buy a coffee and a sarnie only to be told the card reader was out of action and he’d have to get cash.
As he prepared to do so, someone behind him piped up and offered to pay.
When he offered to reimburse him, the man replied: ‘If I cannot buy a fellow Englishman a coffee then it’s a sorry state of affairs.’
The letter-writer is British Sikh.
