UEFA ensured that their sponsors enjoyed a perfect view of Manchester City’s Champions League clash away to CSKA Moscow – despite the presence of a stadium ban.

Fans were barred from attending the match – which ended 2-2 – at the Arena Khimki on Tuesday after CSKA were handed a three-game ban following repeated racist conduct by supporters.

But despite the fact that there were no spectators present for the match, UEFA made sure they made more room for their sponsors than the media and even City and CSKA delegates.

In a picture tweeted by BBC Sport, the European governing body were shown to have set aside 300 seats for their sponsors – out of a total of 650.
